Compulsory Employer Liability Insurance

EMPLOYER — a legal entity or an individual who has concluded an employment contract (contract) with an individual in the manner prescribed by law; The employer is obliged, under the conditions and in the manner established by this Law, to insure its civil liability for compensation for harm caused to the life or health of the employee in connection with work injury, occupational disease or other health damage associated with the performance of labor duties.

EMPLOYEE — an individual working on the basis of an employment contract (contract) concluded with the employer.

INSURANCE OBJECT — the property interests of the employer in the event of his civil liability for compensation for harm caused to the life or health of the employee in connection with work injury, professional illness or other health damage associated with the performance of his labor duties.

EMPLOYER'S TYPE OF DANGER — is established in accordance with the classification of degrees of danger and the procedure for classifying activities as a certain degree of danger, approved by the Cabinet of Ministers of the Republic of Uzbekistan.

PRODUCTION ACCIDENT — an event as a result of which an employee received a labor injury or other health damage associated with his performance of duties under an employment contract (contract) both on the territory of the employer and outside it, and which necessitated the transfer of the employee to another job , temporary or permanent loss of professional ability to work or his death;

INSURANCE PERIOD — 1 year

Methodology for calculating the insured amount

Type of employer

Sum insured

For an employer carrying out activities for more than 1 year on the date of conclusion of the OSGOR

In the amount of the annual salary of all employees of the employer for the previous 12 months before the month of conclusion of the contract

For an employer re-operating

In the amount of the annual salary of all employees of the employer for the next 12 months, after the month of conclusion of the OSGOR agreement. In this case, the annual wage is calculated by multiplying the amount of wages for the first month by 12

For an employer operating less than one year

In the amount of wages of all employees of the employer for the period the employer carries out this activity.
